It was thursday morning, 10.02 am, I began writing this. At first I was going to take notes in a very special way, this way, the path we, this keyboard, the language, the screen, Google Docs, Zotero, my past readings, my future seeings, the moment I stop some things to make a coffee, we are writing this together. Also the clothes I must wash myself, the thinking about the meals, the loan I am in need again, the pain in my back, the cats, we are all writing this together. If it is not for the presence of some of us by the time some “mind” releases an idea and somebody runs to the keyboard, if not, by one, some, any of ours absence. And it was 10.21.

It was 12.03, one cup of coffee, some conversation at home, 2 more people here…

It was monday, the monday after that tuesday, and the following day I was to wait for the news, “good or bad”. In fact, to be sincere, I was just collapsing. Tense, tense, anxious, afraid, afraid, afraid…

There has been sometime since I last let myself try to see… (is this really so? I always question myself about the ongoing thought that something is going to be done in a new way, something is going to be different, something is going to happen again and I have signs, and it’s been a long time since I last felt like this, I don’t know, it is really confusing) hope in an academic possibility. What does it mean to see this?

Well, lots of things, but let us try to create some order. I’ve been studying routine, routine in organization theory, also known as organisation studies, a bunch of theorizing about some “objects” that are usually associated to the name organization or to other names such as corporations, enterprises, firms, institutions, all of that sort of labor, production, State and so on associated to life in our planet. And I took a path really hard (to me at least) to walk by. ANT — Actor-Network-Theory.

..to be continued….
